So...I've been having some adventures in baking lately. I made 18 dozen cookies to send off to Las Vegas on Tuesday/Wednesday. I also learned that unbleached flour is rarely your friend. Snickerdoodles, chocolate chip and peanut butter chip. Nothing all that new or entertaining.
"Amish" Whoopie Pies are slightly more labor intensive than one might suspect...and they are pretty sweet. I think Robin and I might be the only people that like them.
I'm hoping for a Jungle Jim's trip in the near future...there are some cookie recipes at www.globalcookies.blogspot.com that I would like to try out and Madison just doesn't seem to have the variety of ingredients I'm looking for.

They were yummy! So sweet your teeth hurt but taste amazingly like the ones at Jungle Jim's they charge and arm/leg for.
